Google's bendable Tensor smartphone tested on Geekbench
The bendable Google smartphone has passed the performance test in Geekbench software.
The device is codenamed Google Pipit. The tested sample runs Android 12 and comes with 12GB of RAM. Note that Google last year introduced a special version of the OS for bendable smartphones - Android 12. Perhaps Geekbench misses such nuances.
The hardware platform is built around a Tensor mobile processor with a peak frequency of 2.8 GHz and a Mali-G68 graphics accelerator. This appears to be the same single-chip system found in the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. In the test of one core, the model scored 4811 points, and in the test of all cores - 11349 points. Tested smartphone performance in Geekbench 4, not Geekbench 5.
The presentation of Google's flagship with a foldable display was expected in 2021. Now there is no information about the timing of the premiere.
