Autonomous truck developer TuSimple may sell its US business amid a possible delisting from the Nasdaq exchange.

Here's What We Know

The company is on the verge of being excluded from Nasdaq for failing to file two quarterly reports. TuSimple officials said it is exploring strategic alternatives for its US business, including a possible sale and a refocus on the Asia-Pacific region.

The company went public in 2021. Since then, TuSimple has considered itself an American company with overseas operations, despite the fact that the founders and early investors are from China.

The firm even considered selling its business in the Asia-Pacific region after regulatory scrutiny of its ties to China. However, TuSimple abandoned the idea as early as May 2023.
