The code interpreter is available to all ChatGPT Plus users

Code Interpreter allows ChatGPT to execute code with optional access to user uploaded files. The tool can analyse data, build graphs, perform mathematical calculations and more.

With a wide range of tools and large memory capacity, the AI can write code in Python and work with files up to 100 MB in size.

One promising application of the Code Interpreter is data science. It can automate complex quantitative analysis, merge and cleanse data and even reason in human terms. The AI creates visualisations and dashboards that users can then refine and customise by simply talking to the chatbot.
