Microsoft has released a preview version of Windows Copilot for Insider Preview members in the Beta channel.

Here's What We Know

Copilot is available in the preview version of Windows 11 starting with build 22631.2129. It can be activated by clicking the corresponding button on the taskbar or by typing the Win + C key combination. The AI assistant will then appear as a sidebar docked to the right.

Microsoft gave some examples of requests that Copilot fulfils early on. For example, it can be asked to perform basic Windows tasks like "Change to dark mode" or "Turn on do not disturb."

It can also summarise information about active sites in the Edge browser, compose stories and generate images.

The rollout of the feature is being rolled out gradually. New Windows Insiders joining the Beta channel today will not be able to install this update.
