Waymo will launch a robotaxi service in Austin, Texas, USA, in the coming months. The first stage will start already in autumn.

According to Waymo, the service will cover major areas of the city, including downtown, Barton Hills and Hyde Park. You can sign up for the waiting list today.

Austin will be the fourth city where Waymo One will appear, following Phoenix, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. The company has also conducted a short-term test in New York City, but has not yet announced plans for commercial service in that region.

While rides have typically only been available in limited areas of those cities, Waymo recently doubled the service's footprint to include the wider Phoenix and San Francisco areas.
