Nvidia unveiled a more powerful artificial intelligence chip to be released in 2024

Nvidia has announced the GH200 superchip, which can handle "the most complex generative AI workloads".

Here's What We Know

The GH200 will have the same GPU as the H100, Nvidia's most powerful and currently popular AI chip. However, the novelty will get three times more memory capacity.

According to the company representatives, systems based on GH200 will appear in the second quarter of 2024.

Nvidia has not reported the price of the new chip. Currently, the H100 line is sold at a price of about $40,000.
