On 11 August, Zoom removed a clause from its terms of service that talked about the possible use of customer data to train artificial intelligence algorithms.
Here's What We Know
The updated document states that Zoom does not use audio and video recordings, chats, attachments, or other messages to train artificial intelligence models. Nor does the company share this data with third-party developers.

The previous version of the document stated that the company can use this data for AI training only with the consent of users. The company's product director Smita Hashim emphasised that Zoom values user privacy and is constantly working to improve services.
