Microsoft Designer's artificial intelligence-based design tool is now widely available in the Edge browser
Microsoft Designer, a free artificial intelligence-based design tool, is now widely available for Edge browser users in the US.
Here's What We Know
Microsoft Designer allows you to create various designs, such as social media posts, flyers, greeting cards, and more. After entering a query, the tool displays a grid of suggested designs with text and photo.
The user can modify the template to their liking: replace the image, add an illustration or change the font. The text-to-image generator, which works on the DALL-E principle, also allows you to create pictures that can be added to the design.
The tool is located in the Edge sidebar. This allows you to create designs without opening a separate tab or programme.
How To Switch It On
Microsoft Designer can be accessed in the new version of Edge by selecting the "plus" icon in the column on the far right of the screen. Here, you need to switch to "Designer (Preview)" for the tool to appear in the sidebar.
Microsoft Designer is still in the pre-release stage. It is not yet known when the full-fledged release of the tool will take place.
A preview version of Microsoft Designer is also available on a separate website.
