OpenAI will hold its first developer conference on November 6

On 6 November 2023, OpenAI will hold its first OpenAI DevDay developer conference in San Francisco.

According to the announcement, the event will last one day. It will bring hundreds of developers from around the world together with the OpenAI team to preview new tools and share ideas.

In-person attendees will also be able to participate in breakout sessions led by the startup's technical experts.

"We’re looking forward to showing our latest work to enable developers to build new things", said OpenAI CEO Sam Altman.

Portions of the conference, including the keynote, will be streamed online. Registration will open in the coming weeks and attendance will be limited to "hundreds" of developers, OpenAI said.
