Coca-Cola has unveiled a new drink, Y3000, which is flavoured and designed using artificial intelligence. The soda will be available for a limited time in regular and sugar-free versions.
Here's What We Know
Coca-Cola has not described the flavour of the new drink. Judging by reviews, Y3000 resembles a raspberry ice cocktail.
The company also described the process of creating the soda. First, researchers collected data on consumer preferences to determine the "flavour of the future". This information was then processed by a proprietary artificial intelligence that developed a flavour profile for the drink.
The AI also designed the packaging - neon purple coloured cans.
Traditional-sized bottles of the new drink are also available for sale.
