At the Surface Event, Microsoft announced a new AI assistant called Copilot that will be integrated into various Windows 11 apps.
Here's What We Know
Appropriate permissions will allow Copilot to retrieve data from calendar, mail, documents, and other apps. This will help you create texts, emails and make suggestions faster in real-time.
Copilot-branded AI features will appear in default Windows 11 apps like Photos and Paint. The assistant will also be able to use context from mobile Bing and Edge.
Copilot is scheduled to be released on 26 September in the Windows 11 23H2 update. It will be available on the desktop via the Win+C hotkey.
