Leaked Google Switch to Pixel ad reveals artificial intelligence capabilities in Pixel 8 smartphones
A leaked advert for the Pixel 8 "Switch to Pixel" smartphones emphasises Google's artificial intelligence features, including the new Best Take feature for spoofing faces in photos.
Here's What We Know
The majority of the promotional video is taken up with a demonstration of the Pixel 8's AI features:
- Best Take for replacing faces from other shots;
- Magic Eraser for removing objects;
- Real Tone mode for natural skin colour reproduction.
Insider Kamila Wojciechowska also released marketing materials showing off updated silicone cases for the new smartphones. The accessories for the Pixel 8 will come in Rose, Mint, Charcoal and Hazel colours, while the Pixel 8 Pro will come in Bay, Charcoal, Mint and Porcelain.
They look reminiscent of last year's cases.
The Pixel 8 will be unveiled on 4 October, but for now, many details of the smartphone remain unknown despite numerous leaks.
