Dropbox
Dropbox has announced a number of updates to its cloud file hosting service. In particular, the interface has been updated and new features based on artificial intelligence have been added.
Here's What We Know
In terms of design, there is now a revamped action bar across the full width of the page for quick access to key features such as screen recording and file uploads. The file preview has also been changed to make it easier to edit images, videos, and PDFs directly in Dropbox.
The new design is gradually rolling out to all users.
Dropbox's new interface
New AI tools include an open beta version of Dash's universal smart search, which helps you find the files you need across apps and browser tabs. Another update is to the Dropbox AI app, which can now provide generalised information about a user's files in response to their questions.
In addition, a closed alpha version of the Dropbox Studio tool has been launched for video content creators, designed to unite in one place all stages of work with video - from shooting to publishing.
Along with this, Dropbox has launched new pricing plans from $22 to $32 per month for different categories of users.
