YouTube has unveiled a new type of Spotlight Moments ad that uses artificial intelligence to link brands to relevant cultural topics on the platform.

Here's What We Know

Using AI, YouTube identifies currently popular videos related to cultural events like Halloween. Advertisers can then place their videos in that content or in special themed playlists.

All sponsored videos are published on YouTube Culture Hub with the advertiser's logo.

YouTube believes the new format will allow companies to capture audience attention at key cultural moments and reach the right target segments.
