Microsoft has released the next major update of the Windows 11 operating system, which introduced the Copilot chatbot based on artificial intelligence technologies from OpenAI.

Here's What We Know

Copilot is a generative AI that can create texts and other content at the user's request. It is trained on big data to answer questions, perform actions in Windows, and supplement its knowledge from the internet.

Copilot in Windows can open applications, switch on dark theme, Bluetooth and receive instructions from the user. When browsing a website in the Edge browser, it can give a brief description of the page.

To start a chat with Copilot, you need to click on its icon in the taskbar or the Win+C shortcut. A dialogue box will appear on the right side of the screen.

Update 23H2 is already available on Windows 11 computers. You can find it manually in settings if it wasn't automatically offered.
