Microsoft integrates Copilot AI assistant into Windows 10
Microsoft
Microsoft has started testing the Copilot AI assistant in the Windows 10 operating system. The chatbot is already available in the preview version of Windows 10 22H2.
Here's What We Know
Users will be able to ask Copilot questions and receive answers using text or voice. The functionality will be somewhat simplified compared to Windows 11.
For example, Copilot can't manage device settings and apps. However, the developers hinted that the functionality of the assistant will be gradually expanded.
Microsoft probably added Copilot to Windows 10 because of the popularity of the OS. The company expects that such a step will expand the audience of the chatbot and may encourage developers to create new add-ons for it.
So far, users in North America, Asia and South America will have access to Copilot. There are plans to expand to other markets in the future.
