Unity has released Muse, a suite of artificial intelligence tools to simplify game development. The subscription costs $30 per month.

Here's What We Know

According to Unity, Muse is designed for developers of all skill levels. It includes a chatbot that can generate useful code and answer questions.

Also available to developers is a tool to automatically create 2D sprites based on specified parameters. It allows you to quickly generate variants and choose the most suitable one.

Similarly, Muse has a texture generator for use in 2D and 3D projects. Both of these features are trained on licensed content, ensuring compliance with copyright laws.

In the future, Unity plans to add artificial intelligence mechanisms to Muse for character animation, NPC behaviour and other tasks without having to write code manually. Muse subscribers will also have access to the Sketch rapid prototyping platform.

In addition, Unity announced the creation of Sentis, a neural game engine with AI capabilities that will enable the development of new game functionality from scratch. The tool is currently in open beta testing and will be unveiled to the public next year.

The company also unveiled a set of cloud-based tools for collaborating on projects and announced plans to release Unity 6. It will be released in 2024.
