Microsoft has integrated GPT-4 Turbo's large multimodal GPT-4 model and OpenAI's DALL-E 3 image generator into the Copilot chatbot. This should significantly improve the overall functionality of the service in time for its first anniversary.

Here's What We Know

With the update, Copilot's capabilities have been greatly enhanced. GPT-4 Turbo has increased the text input limit from 50 to 300 pages, allowing for more in-depth responses.

The integration is currently being tested by some users and its wide availability will begin in the next few weeks.

Microsoft has also integrated DALL-E 3 into the AI assistant. The tool allows for the generation of higher quality images with a greater focus on accuracy.

This tool is already available for Copilot users. It can be accessed at the link.

There are other new features coming to Copilot in the near future. The Inline Compose tool now includes a rewrite menu where you can select a block of text and ask the chatbot to rewrite it. The tool will be available to all Edge users in the near future.

The company also announced Code Interpreter for programmers. Microsoft does not disclose details about the tool, but said that with its help users will be able to analyse data, visualise it, as well as perform mathematical operations.

Code Interpreter is currently in beta, with a wide release planned for the near future.

Finally, Bing search will also get a GPT-4-based update. This will expand search queries for complex topics and optimise the output results.
