An alpha version of Midjourney V6 has been released with improved graphics and text creation capabilities
The development team has released a test version of Midjourney V6, significantly modernising the popular AI for image generation.
Here's What We Know
Among the key new features are more realistic high-resolution graphics, improved perception of text prompts and, importantly, the ability to create readable text on images. This was previously unavailable for Midjourney.
To enable V6, you need to enter a special command in the app's settings or add "-v 6" to the prompt. The creators of the model noted that the prompts now work differently and will require retraining.
The first users of Midjourney V6 demonstrate impressive results - bright, detailed visualisations with realistic lighting. However, a number of features from the previous version are not yet available.
The developers emphasise that the V6 is in the initial testing phase and will still be improved.
