Pika 1.0 AI platform for creating video from text is now available to everyone
Pika Labs
Pika Labs has announced the opening of its Pika 1.0 artificial intelligence platform, which allows the creation of animated videos based on text descriptions. The service can now be accessed by anyone.
Here's What We Know
With Pika, users can create 3D animations, videos and other visual content. To do this, you just need to enter a textual cue. The platform is capable of producing finished three-second clips in less than a minute.
When creating a video, a wide range of settings is available - frame rate, aspect ratio, camera movement elements. Once the clip is generated, new cues can be entered to change certain areas or improve quality. There are also functions for adding seconds to the finished clip, uploading your own photos and videos.
To work on the platform, you need to register via Google or Discord on the website. Creating an account and gaining access takes just a few minutes.
Pika competes in the video generation market with companies such as Adobe, Runway and Stability AI. So far, it has raised $55 million in investment at a valuation of about $200 million.
