Adobe Premiere Pro has new AI-powered sound editing features

Adobe announced an update to the Premiere Pro video editor with new tools for working with sound, based on the capabilities of artificial intelligence.

The new features are already available in the public beta version of Premiere Pro and include automatic highlighting of dialogue, music and other types of audio, as well as interactive controls to make it easier to apply effects and find tools.

One of the key innovations is Enhanced Speech, which allows dialogue to be automatically cleaned of background noise to improve speech clarity. This feature will soon be available to all Premiere Pro users.

According to the developers, the new AI tools are designed to optimise existing audio workflows to save editors time for other creative tasks.
