Google has announced Lumiere, a next-generation video content generator powered by neural networks.

Here's What We Know

Lumiere is named in honour of the Lumière brothers (Lumière) - pioneers in the field of cinematography. According to the developers, the algorithm is capable of creating realistic high-resolution videos based on textual user prompts in just one pass.

For example, a user can type in "two raccoons reading books together", and the result is content with relevant content.

The developers claim that the new technology is far superior to other text-based video generation solutions. In particular, it allows you to make edits to existing videos by changing colours, styling and other parameters.

It is not yet known whether Google plans to release Lumiere in free access. Experts are concerned about possible misuse of the technology and copyright infringement.
