Not just smartphones: Google will add Gemini to headphones
Last week Google announced a virtual assistant Gemini, which should replace Bard, Google Assistant and other artificial intelligence technologies. During the presentation, the company representatives focused on smartphones: a special mobile application Gemini is already available in some countries. But, as it turned out, Gemini will appear on other Google devices.
Here's What We Know
Journalists of 9to5Google investigated the beta version of the Google app (15.6) and found an interesting message in it: "Gemini mobile app is working on expanding availability to make it accessible on your headphones".
This means that soon the new voice assistant will appear on wireless headphones instead of Google Assistant. When that will happen is unclear.
The Pixel Buds Pro, for example, still launch Google Assistant even if Gemini is enabled on your phone.
