Microsoft plans to invest over $2 billion in AI

Microsoft will expand its AI infrastructure in Spain with an investment of more than $2 billion over the next few years.

According to Microsoft Vice President and President Brad Smith, the investment will be used to build new data centres, improve security, and support the digital transformation of the government and companies.
This decision comes after the corporation announced that it would allocate €3.2 billion for AI in Germany. This will be the largest investment in the German economy in the last 40 years. With this move, Mircosoft aims to double the capacity of its AI infrastructure, increase the number of data centres, and expand training programmes in the country.
