An insider has revealed what the revamped interface will look like in iOS 19
The media has repeatedly reported that Apple is preparing a major redesign of the interface of its mobile gadgets, and this will be one of the main features of iOS 19.
It was reported that the company is using the developments of visionOS to make the interface more stylish, intuitive and "unload" it. Now we got the opportunity to see how it will all look like.
Here's What We Know
Authoritative insider Jon Prosser, who often shares interesting information, but is still often wrong, showed renders of the iOS 19 interface.
He claims to have created them based on accurate information from his sources at Apple and is confident that they are as close to the original as possible.
Prosser confirmed that the icons in iOS 19 will become more rounded, but noted that the test versions default to standard icon versions to reduce the likelihood of leaks, as the company plans to officially unveil the innovations at the WWDC 2025 presentation, which will take place from 9 to 13 June.
Individual apps like the App Store, Apple Music, and Messages will have a new bar, the Search tab will have a round button to go back, and the search bar will always be active in Messages.
The insider also talked about a new visual effect that will create a flicker on, for example, the torch or camera button on a locked screen when the smartphone moves.
In the Haptic Touch menu, designers will round corners and update the volume and brightness sliders, as well as redesign the app windows. There will be a new keyboard as well.
