Google continues to test Android 14 by releasing the first beta version of the system.

Here's What We Know

The firmware has received many small but useful changes. For instance, the developers have worked on the security and privacy of the OS.

Also the firmware has improved navigation gestures, added ability to activate transparent navigation bar and updated image editor. Google will provide more details about the OS at the I/O 2023 conference in May.

When We Can Expect It

The first beta version of Android 14 can already be installed by owners of Pixel 4a 5G and newer smartphones. A stable release of the system is planned for the fall.
