OPPO unveiled ColorOS 14 based on Android 14: what's new

OPPO has announced a new ColorOS 14 branded interface in the global market, which is based on the Android 14 operating system.

ColorOS 14 has received an updated Trinity Engine, which includes three components ROM Vitalisation, RAM Vitalization CPU Vitalization. ROM Vitalisation compresses application and file data. This can save up to 20GB of memory on your phone. RAM Vitalisation replaces Android's RAM mechanism with a more efficient one to keep background applications in RAM. The third and last component, CPU Vitalisation, balances the performance and power consumption of the chipset.

ColorOS 14 also introduces Smart Charging, which uses an artificial intelligence algorithm to set the charging current based on how and when you use your phone. This will reduce battery wear and tear. The developers have also added improved privacy settings and Smart Touch, which allows you to copy text, images or videos to the File Dock clipboard. ColorOS 14 also includes an updated UI, new Always On Display settings and more.
