Samsung Galaxy Buddy 2: 120Hz screen, Snapdragon 750G chip, 50 MP triple camera and 5000 mAh battery for $305
Samsung has revealed a new smartphone in South Korea.
What we know
The novelty is called Galaxy Buddy 2 and it was a renamed version of the Galaxy M23/Galaxy F23. It has a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a teardrop-shaped notch, FHD+ resolution, and 120 Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone is equipped with a single 8 MP front camera and a triple main camera with 50 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP sensors. Under the hood of the device there is an octa-core processor Snapdragon 750G, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of ROM and a battery of 5000 mAh. It supports 25W fast charging.
The Galaxy Buddy 2 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. In addition, the smartphone got support for 5G, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C port, 3.5mm jack and microSD card slot. The novelty weighs 198 grams. Out of the box, the device has Android 12 operating system.
Price and when to expect
Samsung Galaxy Buddy 2 is already available in South Korea. The smartphone costs $305.
