ASUS announced the Zenbook 17 FOLD OLED laptop with bendable display for $3499

ASUS introduced the Zenbook 17 OLED laptop. The novelty is the world's first laptop equipped with bendable 17.3" display.

Here's What We Know

ASUS Zenbook 17 FOLD OLED uses a 2.5K organic LED panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels and an aspect ratio of 4 to 3. It covers 87% of the front side of the device. The display supports touch controls, and when folded, it offers the user two 12.5" Full HD+ screens with an aspect ratio of 3 to 2.

The refresh rate is 90 Hz, the response time is 0.2 seconds, the contrast ratio is 1 000 000 to 1 and the DCI-P3 color gamut is 100%. In addition, the panel is DisplayHDR 500 True Black compliant and Pantone certified.

The ASUS Zenbook 17 FOLD OLED is equipped with a 12th generation Intel Core i7-1250U processor. It has 10 cores at 3.5-4.7 GHz. The chip is complemented by 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The storage is represented by a 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD drive.

The laptop has four Karman Kardon speakers with Dolby Atmos support, a 5MP infrared HD camera, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6E, two Thunderbolt 4 ports (up to 40GB/s) and a 3.5mm jack. The battery capacity is 75Wh and the fast charging power is 65W. It comes with a power adapter and ErgoSense magnetic keyboard.

Price

ASUS Zenbook 17 FOLD OLED runs on the Windows 11 Pro operating system. The novelty will go on sale at $3499 excluding taxes.
