LG introduced the Smart Monitor 32SQ780S - 32" 4K monitor with frame rate of 65 Hz, stereo speakers, webOS and eARC for $500

South Korean company LG announced a new smart monitor. The model is called Smart Monitor 32SQ780S.

Here's What We Know

The monitor is equipped with a 4K ULTRA HD display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The basis of the panel is a VA panel with a response time of 5 ms, refresh rate of 65 Hz, brightness to 250 nits, 90% coverage of the color gamut DCI-P3 and compliance with the standard HDR10.

The novelty has got stereo speakers with 10W (2 x 5W). The list of interfaces includes USB Type-C with 65W output power, three USB 2.0 ports, one LAN connector and two HDMI ports, one of which is eARC compliant.

LG's monitor can work without connecting to a PC. For this purpose, the manufacturer has implemented browser and data transfer support. WebOS software is used as the operating system. The monitor also got access to YouTube, Netflix. Hulu and the LG app store.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The manufacturer's recommended price for the LG Smart Monitor 32SQ780S is $500. The monitor has already gone on sale, but is only available in the U.S. for now.
