LG has expanded its line of Ultrafine OLED monitors with a new model. It's called the LG Ultrafine 27EQ850, and it is slightly different from the Ultrafine 27EP950 and costs a third less.

Here's What We Know

The monitor features a 26.9" organic LED display with 10-bit color depth, 4K ULTRA HD resolution and a frame rate of 60 Hz. LG claims a matrix response time of 1 ms and Adobe RGB and DCI/P3 color gamut coverage of 99%.

The LG Ultrafine 27EQ850 supports Dynamic Action technology, but does not meet the VESA DisplayHDR400 standard. Instead, HDR10 certification is provided. This is the first difference from the more expensive monitor. The second is the reduction of typical brightness from 250 to 200 nits.

The novelty is equipped with a USB-C (USB 3.0) port with support for fast charging capacity of 90 watts. There are also three USB-A (USB 3.0), two DisplayPort, one HDMI and one Mini-Jack. The monitor can be mounted on the wall thanks to VESA 100x100 mounts and the table stand allows you to adjust the tilt, height and rotation.

The LG Ultrafine 27EQ850 costs $2000. The new monitor, casting VESA DisplayHDR400 certification, was $1000 cheaper than the 27EP950.
