ASUS introduced an updated version of the lightweight and compact laptop ExpertBook B9.

Here's What We Know

Unfortunately, the novelty is based on the 12th generation Intel processor. So, under the hood is the Intel Core i7-1225U chip. Naturally, there is no discrete graphics card. The graphics subsystem is represented by an integrated GPU Intel Xe with a frequency of 1.25 GHz.

ASUS ExpertBook B9 has a 14" Full HD display with maximum brightness of 400 nits. There is no full-fledged numeric keyboard, like in large laptops, but its role can be performed by touchpad.

The laptop has Harman Kardon stereo speakers, two USB-C connectors with Thunderbolt 4 support, USB-A (USB 3.2), HDMI 2.0b and Micro-HDMI. The battery capacity is 66Wh, which, according to the manufacturer, is enough to watch video for 16 hours. It's also worth noting that the novelty weighs 880g - 360g less than the MacBook Air.

Price

The base variant ASUS ExpertBook B9 is equipped with 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD. In the top-end modification, the memory capacity is doubled. The price is $1840 and $2240 respectively. MacBook Air on the chip M2 in the modification with 2 TB SSD costs $150 cheaper.
