DJI Mini 3 is a budget drone weighing 249g with a 4K camera that can fly for 38 minutes, priced from $409
DJI has unveiled the budget quadcopter Mini 3, which has been rumored for a long time. The unmanned drone without accessories will appear on the market in a month and will cost more than one and a half times cheaper than the DJI Mini 3 Pro.
Here's What We Know
DJI Mini 3 weighs 249 g. This is important for the countries where there is compulsory registration of drones weighing 250 g. The quadcopter is equipped with an optical sensor format 1/1,3 "with support for shooting video in 4K UHD with a frame rate of 30 FPS and HDR. The drone has support for HD live streaming at 30 FPS from a distance of up to 10 km.
The maximum flight time of DJI Mini 3 in the standard version is 38 minutes. But the company has released Intelligent Flight Battery Plus, which adds another 13 minutes on top. The quadcopter can automatically take off and return to the operator. The latter feature works when the signal is lost and when the battery is low.
DJI Mini 3 has satellite navigation and infrared sensors that allow it to keep its balance while hanging in the air. The company, on the other hand, did away with sensors for obstacle avoidance.

The cheapest version of the DJI Mini 3 will only cost $409 / €489. The kit includes just the drone. This version will be on sale in January 2023. For comparison, DJI Mini 3 Pro without controller and other accessories costs $ 669.
