Xiaomi Sound Pro: a smart speaker with an interesting design and backlighting for $145

At today's presentation, Xiaomi unveiled its next new product - the Xiaomi Sound Pro smart speaker, which, as the manufacturer claims, should provide "flagship quality sound". Well, let's see if that's true.

Here's What We Know

First of all, Xiaomi Sound Pro stands out because of its design: the top part is made of transparent material, and the backlighting during the speaker changes depending on the rhythm of the music. The device is only available in black color.

The speaker itself is seven-channel: a three-section wide-band driver for clear and transparent sound and a three-section passive radiator, as well as a subwoofer for low frequencies. In addition, there's a large woofer with high volume and sound pressure up to 91dB, 360-degree sound, Sound Pro 2.0 technology responsible for auto-tuning sound quality, and the Nightingale algorithm that allows you to select different sound styles.

The speaker supports SBC and AAC codecs and is equipped with a 3.5mm jack.

The Xiaomi Sound Pro is priced at $145, but so far we are only talking about the cost in China.
