Usually wireless earphones are used for talking and listening to music while exercising, walking, working, and relaxing. But LG has introduced the Breeze earphones, which are designed for sleeping.

Details

The model is designed by SleepWave and released by LG as part of CIC (Company in Company) to help develop new businesses and open up new markets. The manufacturer says the Breeze is a smart sleep solution.

First and foremost, the earphones are ergonomic: each weighs 6g, doesn't get in the way while sleeping, and is comfortable even when used for long periods of time. The earphones come in a case with UV light, which kills germs and helps keep the device clean.

Breeze helps users fall asleep with about 80 built-in sounds. These are not ordinary music, but lullabies, nature sounds, and brainwave-tuned sounds. In the brainwave-synchronized sound, different frequencies are heard in the left and right hemispheres, creating brainwaves that promote sleep.

In addition, synchronization with YouTube is claimed, meaning you can apparently turn on your favorite tracks or videos for the night.

The headphones also detect sleep phases, accurately detect awakening, and analyze postures and tosses at night, after which the app will give the user recommendations on how to improve their sleep.

The full LG Breeze will be unveiled at CES 2023, which kicks off January 5 in Las Vegas. Apparently, then we will learn information about the cost and availability of the device.
