Intel introduced Raptor Lake mobile processors with 24-core Core i9-13980HX at the head

Intel, after the "second part" of the Raptor Lake desktop processors, announced a line of chips for mobile computers, i.e. for laptops. The 13th generation includes more than three dozen new platforms.

Here's What We Know

The top-of-the-line processors with the index HX attract the most attention. They have a TDP of 55W, maximum power consumption of 157W, integrated graphics from 1.45GHz to 1.65GHz, and are built with a scheme with performance cores (+multithreading) and energy efficiency.

The flagship of the Raptor Lake generation is the Intel Core i9-13980HX processor. It has 24 cores (8P + 16E) and has 32 threads. The maximum frequency of the chip is 5.6 GHz, and the base frequency is 2.2 GHz. The volume of Level 3 cache memory is 36 MB.

Core i9-13950HX and Core i9-13900HX processors have almost the same, but the maximum frequency is reduced by 0.1 GHz and 0.2 GHz respectively. All three chips support DDR5-5600 RAM.
