In the spring of 2022, Hisense launched an e-book with smartphone function called the A9. A few months later, the manufacturer presented two more versions of the device.

Here's What We Know

The Hisense A9 is equipped with a Snapdragon 662 processor and a 6.1" black and white E-Ink display with a resolution of 1648 x 824 pixels. The battery capacity is 4000 mA*h, and the fast charging power - 18 watts. The model also got a digital-to-analog converter, a main camera with 13 MP resolution and a front module of 5 MP.

The new version of the Hisense A9 comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage. The price is $330. The original model is available in 4/128GB and 6/128GB versions priced at $260 and $290 respectively.

The second novelty is called Hisense Hi Reader Pro. The specifications are almost exactly the same as the Hisense 9. Despite having the prefix Pro, this device does not have digital-to-analog converter and cameras. However, it is a big step up from the Hi Reader, which has the Unisoc T610 processor.

The price of the Hisense Hi Reader Pro is $245. The package includes a notebook and a protective case in addition to the reader with smartphone function.
