ASUS presented a gaming notebook TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition on Ryzen 7000 processors with Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards

ASUS has released a special version of the TUF Gaming A16 notebook. The gaming model is called Advantage Edition and offers customers both processors and next-generation AMD graphics.

Here's What We Know

The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition is equipped with Ryzen 7000 processors up to Ryzen 9 7940HS with 8 cores, 16 threads and up to 5.2 GHz. The top-end graphics system is represented by Radeon RX 7700S with 8GB of video memory and 120W TDP. The maximum capacity of SSD PCIe 4.0 is 2 TB.

The use of AMD graphics and chips enables support for Smart Access Memory, SmartShift and Smart Access Graphics. In addition, the novelty got a 90W*h battery, USB 4, FHD webcam, four stereo speakers, HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 6, and the case has MIL-STD-810H class protection.

Separately, let's focus on the display. The ASUS TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition has an 8 to 5 ratio, QHD resolution and refresh rate of 240 Hz or Full HD and 165 Hz. The response time is 3ms or 7ms respectively. The sRGB color gamut coverage reaches 100% in both cases. There is also support for AMD FreeSync Premium technology.

As usual, ASUS at CES 2023 did not disclose either the price or the launch date of the TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition.
