Lenovo unveiled powerful Legion Pro gaming laptops with RTX 30 and RTX 40 graphics starting at $1460

Lenovo has brought four Legion Pro gaming laptops to CES 2023 at once, each of which will be available in several modifications. They are called Lenovo Legion Pro 5 / 5i and Legion Pro 7 / 7i.

Here's What We Know

We start with the more affordable devices. Legion Pro 5 / 5i are equipped with a 16" screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels based on IPS panel with frame rate of 240 Hz and brightness of 240 nits.

GeForce RTX 4050, GeForce RTX 4060, GeForce RTX 4070 and even last generation GeForce RTX 3050 graphics cards are responsible for the graphics. There's up to 32GB of RAM (DDR5) and up to 2TB of SSD.

The Legion Pro 5 is offered with Ryzen 5 7645HX, Ryzen 7 7745HX and Ryzen 9 7845HX processors. The Legion Pro 5i is equipped with Intel's Core i7-13500HX, i7-13700HX and i9-13900HX chips. The battery capacity is 80Wh.

Lenovo Legion Pro 7 / 7i are more expensive laptops from the Chinese company. They are equipped with high-capacity batteries (99.9 Watt*h) and are available with GeForce RTX 4090 graphics in the maximum configuration.

The Legion Pro 7i gets an Intel Core i7-13700HX or i9-13900HX processor. Legion Pro 7 is available exclusively with the Ryzen 9 7945HX chip. Memory capacities are the same as in previous models.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Legion Pro 7i will go on sale first (in March). The price will start from $2000. The Legion Pro 7 will not be sold in the US. In Europe it will cost from €2700 and will appear in April. Legion Pro 5 / 5i will also be on the market in April and will cost from $1460 and from $1480 respectively.
