Razer has announced a new webcam. It is called Kiyo Pro Ultra and can shoot uncompressed 4K ULTRA HD video.

Here's What We Know

The manufacturer claims that the Kiyo Pro Ultra is equipped with the largest sensor among webcams. Novika received a Sony Strarvis 2 image sensor with an optical format of 1/1.2", supplemented by optics with an aperture of f/1.7.

Razer is positioning the camera as a profitable solution for content creators who do not want to invest in expensive DSLR cameras. Kiyo Pro Ultra has an omnidirectional microphone and can shoot video in 4K UHD at 24 FPS, in QHD at 30 FPS, or in FHD at 60 FPS.

The cost of the Kiyo Pro Ultra was $300. Razer says the camera can be used immediately after connecting it to your computer. But if you want to make changes to the settings of the shooting, you'll have to install the Synapse application. By the way, the settings are stored directly in the camera.
