Apple introduced the second generation HomePod with improved sound, S7 chip, new features and a $299 price
Apple, almost two years after withdrawing from sale smart speaker HomePod, announced its new version.

The novelty received the same cylindrical shape, but with a more transparent mesh fabric and a backlit touch panel from edge to edge. It can be used to control the speaker and call the voice assistant Siri.
The speaker has an upgraded S7 processor. Apple has also worked on the sound quality of the device. The novelty supports the technology of surround sound Spatial audio and boasts the function of connecting to Apple TV.
The new model HomePod can be used as a home intercom to send messages. Also the novelty has sensors to detect smoke and carbon monoxide. In addition, the device can check the temperature and humidity in the room.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Apple will start selling the second-generation HomePod on February 3. The speaker will cost $299.
