AGM has announced the second generation of the Glory series smartphone. Housed in a rugged case, the model is called the AGM G2.

Here's What We Know

The smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm QCM6490 processor. The mobile platform is made by 6 nm technology and has a maximum clock frequency of 2.7 GHz. The graphics subsystem is represented by the Adreno 643 chip. In fact, it is an improved version of the Snapdragon 778G. There is 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory.

The body of the AGM G2 has IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H protection. On the front, there is a 6.58" Full HD+ display with a frame rate of 120Hz. The main camera resolution is 108 MP + 2 MP, while the front camera is 32 MP. The features include a 20MP night vision camera and a removable torch.

The built-in battery has a capacity of 7000 mAh. The battery supports 18W and 10W wired and wireless charging respectively. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the power button. The software platform is the Android 12 operating system.

Optionally, the AGM G2 is available with a fourth camera on the rear. This can be a standard thermal imager with 256 x 192 pixels or a more advanced one with a 4.5x zoom. It can detect a 6' high target from a distance of 500 meters.

Price

The price of the standard AGM G2 is $699. The version with a conventional thermal imager costs $799 and is called the AGM G2 Pro.

The option with an advanced thermal imager is called Guardian. It will cost $899 or $999. The more expensive configuration gets 12GB of RAM instead of 8GB.
