Xiaomi has announced a new smart home product, the Xiaomi Smart Door Lock M20.

The previous Xiaomi Smart Door Lock M20 debuted last year and was positioned as a top-of-the-line device. Now it's time for the successor. Xiaomi hasn't revealed all the details yet, as the full presentation will take place on 20 February.

It is known that the lock is equipped with a built-in video camera and display, so home owners will be able to see in real time what is happening behind the door.

The new product is likely to inherit the main features of Xiaomi Smart Door Lock M20: high security and durability, quality materials, remote monitoring via an app and various unlocking methods. These include fingerprint, password, NFC, via smartphone via Bluetooth and Homekit.

The smart doorbell is expected to cost around $290.
