ASUS introduces ROG Swift 27" WQHD OLED WQHD gaming monitor with 240Hz frame rate
ASUS formally announced the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM gaming monitor at CES 2023 in January. Two months later there was a full premiere, but no price.
Here's What We Know
The ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM is equipped with a 27" organic LED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate. The screen has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which corresponds to the WQHD format.
The manufacturer claims that the panel covers 99% of the DCI-P3 colour range and 135% of the sRGB space. Maximum brightness is 1,000 nits. Response time is 0.03ms. Contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1. To protect pixels from burn-in, a special algorithm is used to optimize the voltage at each pixel.
To connect the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM, a DisplayPort 1.4 (x1) and HDMI 2.0 (x2) connector is used. Other highlights include an illuminated ROG logo on the back, a USB hub, and support for NVIDIA G-SYNC.
