LG announces UltraGear 49" curved gaming monitor with 240Hz refresh rate

LG has expanded its UltraGear range of monitors with a new model. It is called LG UltraGear 49GR85DC-B. The price and launch date have not yet been specified.

Here's What We Know

The novelty is equipped with a 49" display with a 1000R radius of curvature and an aspect ratio of 32 to 9. It is based on a 10-bit VA panel with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels (DQHD). The refresh rate is 240Hz, the response time is 1ms, the maximum brightness is 450 nits and the contrast ratio is 450 nits.

The LG UltraGear 49GR85DC-B is VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified and supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology. DCI-P3 colour range coverage is up to 95%.

A computer can be connected to the monitor via DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.1 connectors. The stand lets you choose the height, tilt and angle of the display. If desired, you can mount the LG UltraGear 49GR85DC-B on a wall. A VESA 100 x 100 mm mount is available for this purpose.
