IKEA unveils $15 waterproof Bluetooth speaker that can be used in the shower

IKEA has a range of Vappeby devices, which was recently expanded with the addition of a compact, waterproof Bluetooth speaker.

The speaker has been given a small size and a body with a protective silicone coating. There is a choice of black, yellow and red colours.

The water resistance class IP67 means that the device is not afraid of getting wet and can withstand a half an hour immersion in water. In other words, you can even listen to music in the shower. This is facilitated by the lanyard - the speaker can be hung on a hook or attached to a backpack or bag.

If you play music at medium volume, one battery charge is enough for 80 hours of listening.

We can hardly talk about high quality of sound as the price of IKEA Vappeby speaker is just $15.
