Xiaomi unveils Mi TV S 4K TV with 144Hz refresh rate and HDMI 2.1, starting at $435
Chinese company Xiaomi has unveiled a pair of new TVs. The range is called the Xiaomi Mi TV S.
Here's What We Know
The manufacturer is offering customers two models. Both feature a 4K panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, 144Hz refresh rate, 94% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage and support, Dolby Vision, AMD FreeSync Premium, MEMC and HDR. The diagonal is 65' and 75'.
The TVs are fully compatible with the new generation of set-top boxes. Two HDMI 2.1 ports are provided for this purpose. There are also two USB-A connectors, one HDMI 2.0 and one RJ-45.
The heart of the Xiaomi Mi TV S is a 4-core AR Cortex-A73-based chipset. The RAM is 3GB and the storage capacity is 32GB. The TVs support voice assistant and have a Wi-Fi 7 chip. Also note the presence of two 12.5W speakers each with Dolby Atmos.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Both new products have already gone on sale, but are available exclusively in the Chinese market for now. The Xiaomi Mi TV S65 is priced at $435. The Xiaomi Mi TV S75 is priced at $580.
