Huawei introduces FreeBuds 5 headphones with an interesting design and hybrid noise cancellation for $130
Following the Huawei P60, P60 Pro, P60 Art and Mate X3 smartphones, the Chinese manufacturer has announced new earphones. They are called Huawei FreeBuds 5.
Here's What We Know
The new product features a different design. According to the manufacturer, the new shape of the earphones was chosen after "tens of thousands of tests". Each module has three sections: a sound module, a battery module and a control board.
The Huawei FreeBuds 5 feature speakers with an 11mm diameter diaphragm. The Chinese company promises that the earbuds are capable of delivering deep bass and rich sound.
The novelty has received support for L2HC and LDAC codecs and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification. A Bluetooth 5.2 wireless adapter is used to connect to smartphones.
The Huawei FreeBuds 5 have hybrid noise cancellation and can run for 5 hours without recharging. With the case included, the runtime increases to 30 hours. Also note that 5 minutes of charging time converts to 2 hours of listening to music.
Price & When We Can Expect It
Unlike the smartphones, which will hit the market in April, the earphones are already on sale. The Huawei FreeBuds 5 will cost $130. The novelty is available in orange, white and silver colours.
