Philips introduces an ultra-wide-angle 5K monitor with a 1500R radius of curvature for £940

Philips has unveiled a new ultra-wide-angle monitor equipped with a curved display. The model is called Philips 45B1U6900C.

Here's What We Know

The novelty is equipped with a VA panel with a curvature radius of 1500R, a frame refresh rate of 75 Hz, 32:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels. The monitor has a 44.5" diagonal and a response time of 4ms (GtG).

According to the manufacturer, the Philips 45B1U6900C matrix has a contrast ratio of 3000:1 and brightness up to 450 nits. The DCI-P3 colour space coverage reaches 107% and sRGB reaches 123%. The panel complies with VESA DisplayHDR 400 and is TÜV Rheinland certified.

For connecting devices, there are two HDMI 2.0 connectors, four USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, as well as one DisplayPort 1.4, USB-B and USB-C connector each. In addition, the monitor has a Gigabit Ethernet port, two 5W speakers and a Mini-Jack.
