Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro: a range of smart TVs with screens up to 55in, speakers up to 40W and Google TV on board, priced from $400

Xiaomi, as promised, held an event in India where it unveiled its first range of smart TVs with Google TV operating system on board.

Here's What We Know

The range of TVs has been named Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro. It includes three models with 43-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch screens. The new items have LED panels with 4K resolution, as well as support for HDR10+, Dolby Vision IQ and the proprietary Vivid Picture Engine 2 colour profile. Base versions of the TVs come with 30-watt speakers. The standard model with a 55-inch screen gets a 40-watt audio system. All three new products are also equipped with a light sensor and microphones for voice control. The TVs come with Chromecast and Google Assistant built in, but Apple AirPlay support isn't.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The Xiaomi Smart TV X Pro will start selling in India on April 19. The TVs will be priced between $400 and $600. Whether the new items will appear in other countries is still unknown.
